Yew Loop Restoration 2021

About The Restoration Project

Morrell Sanctuary Society embarked on an exciting restoration project in 2021, with the generous support of local private and corporate donors. The focus of the project was the Yew Loop trail, located near the entrance of the sanctuary. This unique loop trail is designed for children, featuring enchanting fairy doors and gnome homes on trees, creating a magical experience for young visitors. In addition, the trail was leveled to ensure wheelchair accessibility, making it inclusive for all visitors to enjoy. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Morrell Sanctuary Society and its dedicated donors, the Yew Loop trail has been transformed into a captivating and accessible nature trail for families to explore and create cherished memories.
