Are you a seasoned Nature Day Camp attendee looking for the next adventure? Consider joining our Junior Leadership Program! Many of our campers return year after year and still have a passion for the great outdoors even as they surpass the age limit for regular campers. Our Junior Leaders play a vital role in the camp, acting as positive role models for younger children and sharing their "camp expertise." It's a fantastic opportunity for this age group to develop communication skills, build leadership qualities, and make a positive impact in the lives of younger campers. REGISTRATION POLICY
• Camp registration opens March 1st, and the fee is $45 per day. Camp fees must be paid at the time of registration.. • Registration is completed online only via Zeffy by clicking the appropriate week/theme below . In person, email or phone registration will not be accepted. • If you do not have access to a computer/mobile device and/or internet, please contact the Office Manager or call (250) 753-5811 for assistance. . • Registration is limited to a maximum of 24 campers per day, on a first-come, first-served basis. • Campers can be registered by the week or daily • When 24 spots have been sold for each day and you would like to be added to the waitlist, please click on the waitlist button at the bottom of the page to add your name. • The cost of camp is $45 per day, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and payment can be made in cash, cheque, or Interac.CANCELLATIONS
• Cancellation requests must be in writing and sent to the Day Camp Supervisor a minimum of 72-hrs prior to 08:30 on the day of the camp. If the request is received within this timeframe a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee will be issued. The admin fee is a one-time fee per participant, regardless of how many days are cancelled. • When the cancellation request is received after the 72-hr window has passed a refund will not be issued. Morrell Nature Sanctuary will make every effort to fill the vacant spot and if another participant is registered prior to 08:30 on the day of the camp a full refund less the $25 admin fee will be issued. • In the event of an emergency or unforeseeable circumstance occurring after the 72-hr window has passed a cancellation request must be in writing and sent to the Day Camp Supervisor. The request must provide a basic summary of the emergency (no personal details need to be disclosed) and will be subject to the Supervisor’s discretion and not guaranteed. If the cancellation request is approved, a full refund will be issued less the $25 admin fee, regardless of whether the vacant spot has been filled. • If a camp day is cancelled by Morrell Nature Sanctuary all fees will be refunded, and no admin fee will be charged.Creatures Among Us
